Jaguar Land Rover, operated by THE COLLECTION, is ready to open along the US1 in Coral Gables, FL.
ESMETALS is excited to have participated in the project, delivering a custom airfoil louver system for the facade.
This new 8-story facility will be a one-stop destination as it will feature a showroom, service and detailing center, and storage for over 800 cars. The airfoil louvers were installed in over 700 openings, covering 40,000 square feet on multiple elevations.
JLH Architects challenged ESMetals to design a screen solution that would fit into the architectural style of Coral Gables, having a mediterranean and colonial look. The team developed a 7″ airfoil louver blades that would be spaced 6″ and would achieve 40.5% open area.
The louvers along the street level had to fit into the architectural arches, which had an extreme radius, making it an extraordinary feat in terms of fabrication and workmanship.
