The Colombian Capital of Bogota is finally inaugurating the new Police Headquarters.
The auditorium, which was part of the secondary phase, is now completed, and will be an attractive addition to the headquarters.
In total this complex will be able to accomodate 1,700 employees, with acces to auditorium, meeting rooms and training facilities equipped with the latest technology.
ES participated on both phases of the project, completing the exterior skin on the buildings. This included the exterior glazing, the suspended terracotta system, and the aluminum expanded screen that was just finished for the auditorium façade.
The architectural firm led by Camilo Avellaneda wanted to give the Auditorium an elegant and modern touch using a dark blue finish and an open area of 50% to make this coating not only visually impressive but also functional.
Over 20,000 sqft of Expanded Metal Mesh is installed across this façade.
